On the 6th August 2010, we had our 29th Installation Night at the Hakka Association. We had the honor of having Past International Director Hajjah Ellis Suriyati, District Governor Dato’ Yeow Wah Chin and Datin Genevieve
to grace our function. Amongst our invited guest were 2nd VDG Chan Hoi,
PDG Dr. J.P.Kamalanathan and Dr Mary, PDG Jason Kong,
Cabinet Secretary Lim Hoe Guan, Region 1 Chairperson Sunny Tan, Region 2 Chairperson Low Kim Yak,Zone 1 Chairperson Tan Kok Wei and Lion Presidents and Lion Members from Kota Budaya, Kota Bharu, Cheras, Kuala Terengganu, Gua Musang, Sibu, Kuching, Cukai Central, KL Central and Cameron Highlands.
We had a great night with Installations of our BOD by DG Dato' Yeow Wah Chin, presenting of awards, dance performance by Kelly Dance Centre and Karaoke. Altogether, we had 28 tables for this dinner.
During this event, we also sold some souvenirs to our guest. The proceeds of this sale will be used for the Education Fund for poor and needy students.
