19/8/2012 -  LCKK with PDG Dr. JP Kamalanathan visited our Royal Sultan at the Istana Kelantan Kubang Kerian,

Menteri Besar , Ex District Governor, Ex.co Member YB Dato Annuar Tan, Dato and Lion member Dr. Shafie (Bunut Payung)

Program kempen keselamatan jalan raya sempena perayaan Hari Raya Aifilfitri 2012 anjuran bersama Lions Club Daerah Kuala Krai dan  IPD Kuala Krai

Kami menyerahkan 200 goodies Bag with Drive Safely Car Stickers dan Malaysia flag (National day).

Motif program adalah untuk memberi kesedaran memandu dengan berhati-hati semasa” balik kampong “ dan menyemarakkan semangat patriotik cintakan negara bersempena Hari Kebangsaan.

 Penganjur Program Lion Wong Lok Boon  mengucapkan Terima kasih kpd YDH SUPT Abd Rahman, KPD Kuala Krai, Insp Wan Azizi (KBKA) dan anak2 buahnya. Encik Ridwan Awang(jurupoto),Cik Rosmizauliana(T/Tertib), Insp Norhayah dan anak2 buah kerana telah menjayakan program ini bersama-sama dan mengucapkan . SELAMAT HARI RAYA MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN.

Artificial Limbs and Sight First

Our District 308B1 – under the term of   DG DR.Ben C Ng for the Program of
prosthesis has approved the artificial limb at the cost of RM5000.00
to patient Encik Zulkifli Che Ali (NRIC: 661219-03-5389).

He came from a poor family with 4 children – below working age. Formerly he
worked as a security guard until he suffered from severe diabetes and have
his operation (lost his limb) at General Hospital, Kota Bharu.  Due to his
condition, he is unemployed and he needs help an artificial limb to lighten
his burden. (His case was followed up and examined by our PDG Dr. JP
Kamalanathan).

Lions Club of Kuala Krai thank LCI District 308b1 for the contribution of
1 complete set of knee prosthetics to LCKK - patient En. Zulkifli Bin Che
Ali - which was fixed on the 22/7/2012 at Kelinik Krai by Mr. Billy and Mr.
Sunny from MS TEH LIN PROSTHETIC & ORTHOPAEDIC CO SDN BHD, KUALA LUMPUR.

On the same day, 4 pairs of spectacles were presented to 4 students from
SMK Pahi (for our eyesight project)

DC Youth Wan Siew Leng & President Nyanasegere , lion members  &  lioness
and Our Youth Exchange student  Julie Gilboe (18Yrs.) from Norway joined
this project.

SAMBUTAN MINGGU PENYUSUN SUSU IBU SEDUNIA

9/8/12 - 3 Lions attended  the programe : SAMBUTAN MINGGU PENYUSUN SUSU IBU SEDUNIA orgainsed by the Hospital Kuala krai (Sambutan 10 tahun strategi Global WHO/UNICEF bagi pemakanan bayi dan kanak2 kecil).

YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAM

22-8/2012 -3/8/12 – Our new member host a YE Julie Gilboe from Norway.  From this 10 stayed she Have a wonderful Journey in Kelantan –learning a lot about our Multi Malaysian Culture - our way of life , the different races and traditions and enjoying our local food. With her experience and testament, she will promote our beautiful beaches , tropical forest , friendly people and thus you can encourage more youth  to join this Lions YE program. The same goes to to our Host family too, who has also learned a lot from the YE students.

31/7/2012 - DC Wan organized for Zone 1 with  4 clubs -  YE Farewell dinner & fellowship with all the ZC, DC, Presidents, committees, Lions members & family ,  inbound 10 YE Students , host family, Leo, at the Kim Man Lou Restaurant. (80 pax)

1/8/2012 –Our Club had a YE Farewell & fellowship at PDG JP Kamalanathan with our lions members & family ( 60 pax)

3/8/2012 – Departure of 9 YEs at the Pengkalan Chepa Airport as schedule with our DC Wan.

6/8/2012 - O/c Lion Dr. Shafie of LC Kuala Krai visited the senior citizens at Ladang Mengkebang .  17 Hampers were distributed to them for the Hari Raya Celebration.
