Environmental Day at PDK Centre
In conjunction with World Environment Day we carried out cleanliness drive and Green Project at the PDK centre with AJK and the participation of parents and citizens around the Taman. The initiative also aims to raise awareness of the importance of healthy and green environment among children and parents and also encouraged people to come together and work towards a more environmentally sustainable future.
We repainted the centre, picked up roadside rubbish, conducted recycling program by using recyclable tires for planting trees, repaired and painted old shelves to be reused.
Our gardening project included planting of 50 trees and plants at the centre to beautify and shady
purposes.
