Charity Golf Tournament





We have two sessions for the Charity golf for LC Kuala Krai at Kelantan Golf & Country Club

21/10/2011 - 3 Lady Golfers
28/10/2011 - Open for the donors, unfortunately they managed to play only 3 holes due to heavy rain. They passed their collection to our President for all 23 players who played in the morning at the KGCC Club.

We wish to thank all the donors who contributed to our LC Kuala Krai

Blood Donation Campaign at Pasaraya Econ Jaya



We received "Sijil Penghargaan" from Hospital Kuala Krai for participation of the Blood donation at KESEDAR KUALA KRAI
-30/10/2011 - Majlis Penghargaan.



26/10/2011- During the Deepavali Festival we manage to collect 29 bags of blood donated by the staff of Pasaraya Econsave and the public.Thanks for OC Lion Phuah Sing for the arrangement

Deepavali Celebration at Taman Daskoh

24/10/11 - We celebrated Deepavali by distributing 10 hampers to senior citizens at Taman Daskoh. Thanks to our O/c Lion Nyanagere and Mohan for the arrangement of 10 senior citizens from Pahi & Taman Daskoh from the Lower Income family-
Our PDG DR JP Kamalanathan wishes them a joyful festival celebration with their family and love one (Tamil) & 9 lions were present at the ceremony.

Tree Planting






Trees Planting and Contribution of Books to Library -
SK BANDAR KUALA KRAI
Another 41 trees were planted at SK Bandar Kuala Krai - 20/10/2011 . We had a warm welcome by them. Programs are as follows:
- Obejctive is to green our environment and the School
- Official open ceremony by PDG DR.JP Kamalanathan (Bursting of balloon tree),
- Entertained by "Lagu Hijau" with special costumes
- presenting of books to school Library by President Wan Siew Leng
- Demostration of treeplanting with all the school students around the field.

We thanks our o/c Lions Jenny Leong for a well organised project

We launched 2 projects in 1 day.
1) Peace Poster Contest -
Altogether there was 80 posters from 3 Schools :- Sk Bandar Baru, S.J.K (C) Yuk Chai, & Pasir Gajah.
8 Posters was selected as winners. Many thanks to our Judge Irene Yong for doing a good job

There was 44 photos taken by stuents of SMSYP 1 - aged 14-17. We sincerely thanks our 2 judges for giving us good advice on taking of the environmental photos.

Trees Planting and Deepavali Celebration - 18/10/2011

20 trees were planted at S.J.K (T) Pasir Gajah with the students for the tree planting Project. PDG Dr. JP Kamalanathan officiated the planting ceremony. He encouraged the students to take good care of the trees, and the tree that grows the tallest will be awarded a prize.

6 hampers was given out to the Indian senior citizens, festival goodies were distributed to all the students, teachers and staffs to celebrate Deepavali.

The Headmistress of the school, Mdm.Gnammoney thanked the Lions for the two meaningful projects;

- Showing the students kindness, love and respect to elders and seniors.

- Importance of trees planting and greening the environment.

- Welcoming two new lions to our Club.(Tan Tai Hong/Ng Heng Seng)
