Official Visit by Lions Club International 1st Vice President Wayne A.Madden

Official visit by Lions Club International 1st Vice President Wayne A. Madden to Lions Eye Clinic on the 29th September 2011 located at MAHSA University College. Our PDG Dr. Kamalanathan gave a briefing on the history of the Lions Eye Clinic progress and developments. He also presented a souvenir to President Wayne. President Wan also took this opportunity to present the Club's bulletin and banner to President Wayne.

In conjunction with his visit, a banquet was held at Sheraton Imperial in Kuala Lumpur at night. Melvin Jones Fellow plaques were also presented to all Lions who donated this fiscal year.

The next morning was the official launching ceremony of Tree Planting at the Lions Family Park in Ara Damansara. This event is organised by Lions Club in Zone 6 - 12. This event is organised in conjunction of the visit of Lions Club International First Vice President Lion Wayne Madden to Multiple District 308 and it is a part of the mission of our International President to plant 1 Million trees worldwide.
