We are lucky that there is no major flood in Kuala Krai , Kelantan this year 2010 except some flash flood in the low lying areas. However, towards the end of monsoon season , which is the end of December or early January , we might expect some heavy rain and minor flood.
On the 28/12/2010 Our president was invited to join the meeting for the preparation of flood alert in Kuala Krai by Pejabat Kebajikan Masyarat Jajahan Kuala Krai, Pejabat Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, some wholesalers & NGOs.
Pejabat Kebajikan Masyarat Jajahan Kuala Krai reported that there will set up 4 major centers for the flood victims.
(Kuala Krai, Manei Urai, Mengkebang & Dabong)- and they hope to stock enough food supplies when needed /requested for this flood season and to get our cooperation on this matter.
