This program was held in conjunction with Hearing Awareness Day jointly with Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya.Hearing Test and basic Sign Language course that will educate us in elementary communication skills with the hearing impaired community
Basic Sign Language couse are conducted in English & Malay by MS Rose NG from Society of Interpreters for the Deaf, Selangor & Wilayah Persekutuan- email: roseyyn@gmail.com. This is a good and interesting course and at the end of the day, our Lion members have to present our Lions and Birthday song using sign language. Everybody was also given a Lion's Book of signs as a souvenir.
3 lions members and 80 participants attended these course.
Congratulations to them for a job well done !!!
