Hillview, - organized 4 meaningful projects in Cameron Highlands.

Lions Strides Walk - 7 km with 151 participants
The 7 km
walk gave everybody a good sweat while enjoying the beautiful scenery and cool
weather around Cameron Highlands. In conjunction with Lions Diabetes Awareness
Month, our presence will create greater awareness to the general public.

Lions Family Day
is a great way with family and friends to
experience Lions Fellowship. It is also a great opportunity to make new friends
and promote greater bondage and closer relationship among District B1 and B2 and Lion Clubs. What’s
more fun and relaxing when you can enjoy delicious steam boat dinner in cool
weather while enjoying the Lions singing and dancing at their best.
TREE PLANTING

Tree Planting Environmental Project is Lions yearly campaign. With so much
environmental destruction around Cameron Highlands, we planted another 130 trees at the SRJK(C) KEA
FARM , Brinchang to
create awareness to the 30 students and community to love our environment.
Disaster
Relief Fund – Ringlet Dam Disaster in Cameron Highlands
on the 24th
Oct 2013
After a heavy downpour at the Ringlet Dam, TNB released water from the
Sultan Abu Bakar Hydroelectric Dam after the siren was sounded, and it brought
destruction to the Bertam Valley in Ringlet. As a result, 3 people lost their
lives, 100 houses was destroyed or under water and over 100 vehicles was badly
damaged.
Lions are well
known as people who can provide basic assistance following a disaster. All profits from ticket sales, after
deducting all expenses, were donated to the relief effort.

Balance of RM760.00 was donated to the Philippines
Typhoon Haiyan Disaster Fund. The money was handed to DC Alert Wesley witnessed
by RC1 Indran, ZC1 Wan Siew Leng and O/c Jensen Yap
