Deepavali Hampers to Senior Citizens and Single Mothers

30/10/2013 - In conjunction of the Deepavali Festival, we distributed 10 hampers to senor citizens and single mothers at our president's house at Taman PPD. 12 Lions & 2 Lioness attended the project

 

 

Peace Poster Contest

26/10/2013 – We collected 100 posters from 4 schools –

SJK Yuk Chai – 68, SJK Pei Hwa = 12,SJK (T) Pasir Gajah- 10  & SK Bandar KK – 10,

and selected the best 15 posters for the prize presentation ceremony at 5521, Taman PPD Kuala Krai, Kelantan  at 5.00pm.Approximately 30 students with parents , teachers & 10 Lions & 2 Lioness attended the prize presentation ceremony. The winners are :-

1st. – Fatin Nabila (SK Bandar Kuala Krai)

2^nd -   Weenny Kor (SJK Yuk Chai) 

3rd – Ooi Wei Ying (SJK Yuk Chai)- 

12 consolations.  –5 from SK Bandar Kuala Krai

                              3 from SJK Yuk Chai

                              2 from SJK (T) Pasir Gajah

                              2 from SJK Pei Hwa

ZONE 1 - PEACE POSTER CONTEST 2013-2014 REPORT

25/10/2013 - We collected 200 posters from 12 schools and selected the best 40 posters ( 10 posters from each club ) to be displayed at the 5^th. Floor of Billion shopping Mall. A total budget  of RM2200.00 for this project were shared among the 4 clubs. Approximately 120 students with parents , teachers & 36 Lions members attended the prize presentation ceremony. The winners are :-

1st. – Goon Yao Ping (SJK Chung Hwa), - LC Glorious Budaya

2^nd -   Jallen Lim          (SJK Yuk Cheng)  – LC Kota Budaya

3rd – Wee Yinn Hwuey (SJK Yuk Cheng)-  LC Glorious Budaya

3 from LC Kota Bharu

3 from LC Kuala Krai

2 from LC Kota Budaya

Zone 1 Wan Siew Leng dan Presiden Lioness Wan Phen dan  telah dijemput oleh IPD Kuala Krai untuk menyertai Program Cakna Amanita Bersama Mencegah Jenayah pada 26 Oktober 2013 jam 7.30 pagi

di Dewan Kelab IPD Kuala Krai Kelantan .

Program tersebut telah dirasmikan oleh ASP Zaharah Binti Hassan (Pengerusi AMANITA kn). Manakala, majlis pembukaan telah diberikan oleh DSP Nuraddin Bin Wahab (Pemangku Ketua Polis Daerah Kuala Krai).

Terdapat pelbagai aktiviti seperti senam robik, taklimat dan ceramah pencegahan jenayah di kalangan wanita.

We won the 3rd. Prize in the Lantern competition & donated RM500.00 for the school Education fund - we also help them  by selling mooncake to raise fund  of RM2000.00 (Lions)

The 32^nd  LIONS Club of Kuala Krai & the 14^th LIONESS Installation of CLUB OFFICERS  saw Lion V Nyanasegere installed as President for a 2^nd term along with  Board of Directors  who will hold office for another fiscal year of  2013 & 2014.  The committees were installed by the Past District Governor Dr JP Kamalanathan in a simple ceremony. 

President Nyanasegere and his BOD then pledged to do their very best to make it another year of success in their services.  He also hopes for better club membership extension so that the club could provide better quality services for the community.

To have a simple ceremony yet meaningful and private night there was dinner followed by fellowship.  Everyone present was comfortable and happy and enjoyed the night.

前总监PDG DR. JP KAMALANTHAN  speech -thanks Pre. Nyanasegere for continuing his presidency and hopefully next year he will be the president again as he has done a good job for serving the local community. He hope all the members will give him a very good support.
