Blood Donation on Christmas Day

25/12/2013 - During the Christmas Day, we managed to collect 24 bags of blood and no donor for the organ pledge.(5 Lions)

Regional Lions Leadership Institute(RLLI) for fiscal year 2013-2014

Ln Wan Siew Leng  from LC Kuala Krai attended the Regional Lions Leadership Institute(RLLI) for fiscal year 2013-2014 hosted  by District 308B1 on the  12 to 15 December 2013 (4 days 3 nights) at Holiday Villa Subang Jaya.

The purpose of the Regional Lions Leadership Institute is to provide Lions leaders with an opportunity to enhance  skills and knowledge in leadership responsibilities.

5/12/2013 - Visit  one of  the flood relief centre at the SJK Yuk Chai  and donated some dry stuffs and old clothing  to  the 22 affected familes.

On the 11^th of November 2013, Lions Clubs International District 308-B1 Region 1, together with District 308-B2 Region 6 & Lions Club of Cameron Highlands Hillview, - organized 4  meaningful projects in Cameron Highlands.

Lions Strides Walk - 7 km with  151 participants

The 7 km walk gave everybody a good sweat while enjoying the beautiful scenery and cool weather around Cameron Highlands. In conjunction with Lions Diabetes Awareness Month, our presence will create greater awareness to the general public.

Lions Family Day is a great way with family and friends to experience Lions Fellowship. It is also a great opportunity to make new friends and promote greater bondage and closer relationship among District B1 and B2 and Lion Clubs.  What’s more fun and relaxing when you can enjoy delicious steam boat dinner in cool weather while enjoying the Lions singing and dancing at their best.

Tree Planting Environmental Project is Lions yearly campaign. With so much environmental destruction around Cameron Highlands, we planted another 130 trees at the SRJK(C) KEA FARM , Brinchang to create awareness to the 30 students and community to love our environment.

 Disaster Relief Fund – Ringlet Dam Disaster in Cameron Highlands 

on the 24^th Oct 2013

After a heavy downpour at the Ringlet Dam, TNB released water from the Sultan Abu Bakar Hydroelectric Dam after the siren was sounded, and it brought destruction to the Bertam Valley in Ringlet. As a result, 3 people lost their lives, 100 houses was destroyed or under water and over 100 vehicles was badly damaged.

Lions are well known as people who can provide basic assistance following a disaster. All profits from ticket sales, after deducting all expenses, were donated to the relief effort.

Deepavali Hampers to Senior Citizens and Students

10/11/2013 - In conjunction of the Deepavali, we presented another 5 hampers to the senior citizens at Pasir Gajah Plantation and also 30 appreciation token to the students of SJK（Ｔ）Pasir Gajah.
