5) Lion Dr. Shafee & Family - Guchil, Kuala Krai

LIONS CLUB OF KOTA BUDAYA INSTALLATION

7 of us attended the Kota Budaya Installation at the Renaissance Hotel on the 25/8/2011 - 8.00 pm. Congratulations to the Presidents and board directors and wishing them a successful year. Special congratulation to Densome Yap for being elected as Lion of the year.
At the Installation DG presented 3 project OC pins to Lion Nyanasegere, Chan Yau Kiang & Chan Siew Chin

Charity Golf

The Kelantan Chinese golfers organised the Charity Golf to raise fund for the Kota Budaya Dialysis Centre – O/C LIion Sadan Chua. 50 golfers took part at the KGCC -19/8/2011 - 8.am . Only 4 lady golfers participated in the Charity Golf. They managed to raise RM18000.00 for the centre.

Double Festival - Hari Raya Puasa and National Day

Salam 1 Malaysia, our PM always encourage us to be united with differenct races and culture. For this double festival- Hari Raya Puasa 2011 and National Day , Lions & Lioness Clubs of Kuala Krai gave aways 80 cakes and green packets to the special and down syndrome sudents from two centres at the PDK Kawasan Guchil Kuala Krai -24/8/2011 at 9.30 am.

For this project we were honoured to have Encik Fauzi from Pejebat Tanah & Jajahan,Pejabat Polis, Pejabat Kebajikan,Majlis Daerah Kuala Krai.Pengurus PDK Kuala Krai En. Zahari and lawyer Encik Wan Afendi

We thanks our O/C Lion Ang Sew Ching and Lioness Wong Lui Peen . Cik Nurul Azlinda( PDK Kuala Krai) and Hilmi Zaiton (PDK Manek Urai) for a good and meaning job done as many lions participate and sponsored.

Today, we started off our road safety campaign at 9.30 am for the incoming cars from out station, with OCPD SUP. Abdul Rahim Bin Jaafar, Ketua Trafic Chief Inspector Wan Azizi Bin Wan Ahmad and 12 Polis officers helping us to maintain the traffic condition .

We gave out 50 goodies (25 + 25) to the drivers & family. Beside this , 3 road safety AND SELAMAT HARI RAYA PUASA BANNERS were put up along the highway to GuaMusang (Laloh, Klinik Kesihatan Pahi, Peladang ), 2 banners on the way to Kota Bharu (Sungai Durian and Telekong) and 100 ROAD SAFETY car stickers were given out.

Main object were to create awareness of the Road safety among the road users - to remind and encourage the safer behavior on the road (BALIK KAMPONG RUSH) during the Hari Raya festival & Merdeka Day celebration

1st Zone 1 Advisory Committee Meeting

We had our 1st Zone 1 Advisory Committee Meeting with ZC Siti Norly Wahab for the fiscal year 2011-2012 on the 6^th August 2011, Saturday at 10.00 am - Kota Budaya Dialysis Centre, Kota Bharu hosted by Lions Club of Kota Budaya (Attire : formal)(No lunch for the Puasa Month)

Hari Raya Hampers

Salam 1 Malaysia, our PM always encourage us to be united with differenct races and culture. For the Hari Raya Puasa 2011 , Lions & Lioness Clubs of Kuala Krai gave away 10 hampers to the senior citizens(poor) at Kampong Gatal areas with the help of Encik Zainal from PPD Kuala Krai, Representative from Kemas and KTM

Our O/c Dr. Shafee and his lady organised this project at the Tadika Kemas KTM Kuala Krai on the 18/8/2011 at 5.30 pm . We wish them an enjoyable and memorable Hari Raya with their beloved family and freind as well .
