This is the biggest mooncake festival celebration in Kuala Krai. We have a joint project with the NGO - Persatuan Yitlan, UKHHH, RELA, Chinese Temple Members,Lions Dance of Kuala Krai. The programs include Lion Dance, street procession, performance by the KSM Line dance and Acrobats from Shanghai, lucky flying lantern competition

all lots of goodies.
Our Lions Club lantern - Heart (title -lucky flying lantern ) won the 2nd. prize thanks to our Lion Ang Sew Cheng , Low Kuang Yin and the Lioness.

The celebration was very successful because majority of the town people(approx2000 ) attended the celebration .We have a good fellowship with theNGO, and goverment representives.

P/S/T and all the Lion and Lioness members attended our Treasurer Nyansegere's son wedding ceremony. It was a happy , sucessful wedding ceremony and we have a good fellowship dinner together. Our Blessing and congratulation to the new couple.

BLOOD DONATION WEEK AT PASARAYA ECONJAYA

During Hari Raya, our blood bank in Kuala Krai faced a critical shortage of blood.Therefore we have a joint project with the Hospital and Pasaraya Econsave for a blood donation drive to help them solve the problem. As it the holidays and majority of people are away we still manage to collect 45 packets of blood.

To thank the staff, we gave some raya cakes to them.

Education fund

Education funds - Subsidy for Text Books for 2nd half year

During our Installation, we sold some souvenirs for our Education funds (sponsored byLion Wan Siew Loo). We used the proceeds of this to fund the text books for the 2nd half of the year for the poor students from the S.J.K ( C) YUK CHAI.
which was requested by the School.

Our president present the cheque of RM1100.00 to the President of PIBG witnessed by the two Headmaster, Ching Joo Was and Ong Kai Looi during Mooncake Festival celebration which is a Joint Project of all the NGOs in Kuala Krai. LC Kuala Krai also participated in this big celebration and sponsored a carton of mooncakes.

projek Keselamatan Jalan Raya ini merupakan antara projek yang terbesar di daerah Kuala Krai yang melibatkan kerjasama antara badan kerajaan dan bukan kerajaan (NGO) sempena musim perayaan hari raya Aidilfitri.

• Projek ini menitikberatkan keselamatan para pengguna jalan raya yang pulang ke kampung halaman supaya lebih berhati-hati semasa menggunakan jalan raya tanpa membahayakan pengguna yang lain dengan mematuhi undang - undang dan juga peraturan jalan raya untuk mengelakkan sebarang kemalangan dan kecelakaan di jalan raya.
• Selain itu, ianya juga memberi peringatan kepada pengguna jalan raya supaya menjaga tingkah laku dan had laju serta lebih berhati - hati dalam merancang perjalanan mereka bagi mengelakkan dikompaun sebanyak RM 300.00 tanpa sebarang rayuan.
• Melalui projek ini juga, secara tidak langsung dapat merapatkan hubungan antara badan kerajaan dan bukan kerajaan (NGO) dalam sesuatu program.
• Lions Club Kuala Krai telah menaja 5 buah hamper kepada RTM untuk tujuan kuiz panduan pada malam tersebut.
• Dalam projek ini juga sebanyak 300 goodies yang mengandungi pelekat (sticker) kepada pengguna jalan raya.
• Lions Club Kuala Krai mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri kepada semua umat Islam di Malaysia.

We are very honored to have Special guests from the various government departments mentioned above joined us for our Hari Raya project. (festival of family reunion, love, forgiving). Pengerusi Encik Zahari was very thankful to our club for celebrating every festival with their students.

For this Raya he was very pleased that the Lions helped to decorate and light up the centre with ribbon KETUPAT made by our President and the Lioness personally. We also gave cakes and Green Raya Packet to the students. He also thanked us for our passion, love and caring for the students.

In his speech, PDG JP Kamalanathan was thankful that we have the oppournity to have this joint project with the NGO , and especailly with the goverment sector . He hope this relationship will be long term as it shows the unity with the local community.

Our special guests help us to distribute all the cake raya and green packet to the students. We really have a good fellowship with them.
