Good new to the Chinese community in Kuala Krai. Our YB Dato" Annuar Tan announced today that the Esso land of 1.6 acre now belongs officially to Yuk Chai School . All the NGO leaders in Kuala Krai have been trying get this piece of land for many years as the school have limited space to develop.

Thanks to their effort, we have all successfully acquired this piece of land.
Lion president Wan Siew Leng and Lion Wong Lok Boon witnessed the announcement.

LIONS CLUB OF KUALA KRAI PROJECT NEWS REPORTED BY WAN SIEW LENG

三位日本女青年学生在国际狮子会青年交换计划被安排抵达瓜拉吉赖作10天的小住,为着是要亲身体会我国的乡镇生活. 三位日本女青年日前莅临本镇吉赖育才华小参观本地小学生求学的情景. 随后她们更与学生们打成一片, 还教导学生们作日本传统的Origami 手工,一种以手摺纸张来构成美丽的图案, 令在场的学生大开眼界. 临别时,瓜拉吉赖狮子与女狮会也在狮子会IPDG总监那登医生府上,设宴款待这3位日本女青年, 也让狮子们能够欢聚在一起, 聆听这3位日本女青年在这10天吉赖的生活乐气. 吉赖狮子会青年交换主任陈友强表示,国际狮子会青年交换计划目的在提供机会给来自不同国家,文化,言语和崇教的青年人,让他们能够了解不同国家,不同生活习惯和人情风味. 他也感谢本地3家的领养家长们,主动负责这3位日本青年10天的生活起居, 为她们安排多项认识吉兰丹的本土风味活动. 瓜拉吉赖狮子会也将在今年11月派遣4位瓜拉吉赖青年前往日本作交换计划.

This is a special farewell party for our 3 JAPANSES YE , the hosted family

and our social night. A very good responses and the YE are very happy for thier

stay in Kuala Krai. They liked our local foods and fruits and they are well entertained by the hosted family.

They have visited all the local tourist attraction in Kelantan, Trengganu and Cameron Highland. They really enjoyed their stayed with the hosted family

In conjuction with the Merdeka Day and their Annual run, the UKHHH orgainsed this special run. Motive - to build up a good relation with other association and the NGO in kuala krai and also to encourage healthy exercise and take good care of our body.

The OC invited the lions member to take part, Lion Wong Lok Boon ,Phuah Sing Lai, President Wan Siew Leng, lioness Jackie and Tan Sik Ha

Our President won the runner up (2nd) for the 6k-ladies.
