R1 - YE Orientation for the DISTRICT 308B1 -2012 Winter Outbound

19 October 2012 at  DSC Lions Club of KOTA BHARU, our DC Youth/YE R1 Ln.Wan Siew Leng arranged the YE  Orientation for the 2012 Winter Outbound.  Thanks to the  speakers  DC James Wong &DC Jack Lim (LEC/LEF) for providing sufficient information and tips for travelling abroad to the 14 Successful Youth Exchange Students

Our Dc Wan take this opportunity to announce:-

1)       YE Program- looking for  Host families to host the 26 Japanese YE students for their stay in Malaysia from 20/12/2012 till 8/1/2013.

2)      YES CAMP – 10-13/12/2012 at Kem Kepimpinan Gembilang Gopeng, Perak.(14-20 yrs old)

Gift of Sight

 

 

 

On the 7th October 2012, we attended the 3rd Anniversary cum Fund Raising Dinner & Official launching of "Gift of Sight". This event was launched by the Lions Eye Clinic Foundation to raise fund to help the poor and less fortunate to regain sight. The Guest of Honour YB Dato' Sir Liow Tiong Lai's representative presented a cheque of RM500,000.00 to support this project. Congratulations to the Lion's Eye Clinic Foundation.

31st. Lions 13th Lioness Installation Night

Our Installation night was held on the 27th September 2012. Congratulations to our BOD and we wish to thank all Lion Dignitaries from the all Lion Clubs who attended our installation.
