Program Derma Darah sempena Peringatan Hari Polis Ke 205

In conjunction with the celebration of Hari Polis Ke 205, our PDG dr. JP Kamalanathan and President Wan Siew Leng received Letters of appreciation from Ketua Polis Kelantan- DATO’ JALALUDDIN BIN AB RAHMAN –SAC , presented by KETUA Polis Daerah Kuala Krai – SUPT ABD RAHMAN BIN JAAFAR.

On the same day , we had a joint project with the IPD Kuala Krai And Blood Bank- GHKK at the Dewan serbaguna Perumahan Polis Sungai Durian on the 29/3/2012.
We manage to collect 24 bags out of 39 ( 9.00 – 12.00 am) . Very good response from the Polis officers and  thanks Ins. Nor Hayah for the good arrangement and a job well done.

After our 3rd Zone 1 Advisory Committee Meeting - 2nd March 2012  , we were invited to  meet the VDG Candidate Ln Chu from LC Taman Tun at the  Dialysis Centre LC Kota Budaya, Tg Chat , Kota Bharu   and had a good fellowship lunch.
Good presentation and we wish him all the best.

We had our  3rd Zone 1 Advisory Committee Meeting on the 2nd March 2012  at the Dialysis Centre LC Kota Budaya, Tg Chat , Kota Bharu    Time   :     11.00 am which hosted by  LC Kuala Krai
Meeing as usual and we reported on all the activities.

13/3/2012- We attended LC Kota Bharu's 51st Anniversary together with DG DR. Ben & Special Guest Datuk Anuar .  We had good fellowship dinner with them and donated RM500.00 for the  LC Kota Bharu DSC Centre .

BLOOD DONATION AT PASARAYA ECONJAYA

10/3/2012 - Due to the School Breaks Holidays,  we had another blood donation drive at Pasaraya Econjaya Kuala Krai Sdn. Bhd,  and manage to collect 20 bags. Thanks to our OC Lion Phuah Sing Lai and the staff of  GH Blood Banks for a job well done

8/3/2012 - We held our AGM as usual.  Everything went smoothly and we congratulated the new Board of Directors as follows :

    Secretary   :      Jenny Leong

    Treasuerer:      Ang Sew Cheng

We hope they will bring our Club to  greater heights.

During our AGM, we donated RM1000.00 to Chairman/PDG DR. JP Kamalanathan for the   LIONS CYE CLINIC FOUNDATION . So far, we sent 5 cataract patients to our LIONS EYE CLINIC FOUNDATION  for treatment.

   

Tahun Melawat Kelantan

 

 

 

 

 

Tahun Melawat Kelantan 2012 - our government organized a float competition as a tourist attraction. They were 10 floats from different district. Every float symbolizes their own tradition and culture.

We would like to express our congratulation to all districts and working committees especially Kuala Krai.

It really makes us felt proud as it highlights our specialties in Kuala Krai such as:

1.       Bird Park

2.       The Hanging Bridge of Sultan Ismail

3.       Bradley Step

4.       Famous Krai Fish (Moveable Tail)

5.       The Highest Water Fall Gunung Stong – Rafflesia Flower

6.       Special Food – Lemang, Mangoesteen, Cempedak, Starfruit

Thanks again to our District Officer, Secretary and working Committee. Unfortunately, we didn’t win the competition due to failure of the generator set during the procession but well done to the working committees for their good efforts.
